On September 06th 2024, our partner SYNERGY OCEAN MARITIME INC (SOMI, Philippines) - a ship management company, organized a training and meeting event (SOMINAR 2024) for maritime officers provided by VINIC to work on the SOMI and SYNERGY fleets. It is the second year this activity has been directly organized by SOMI in Vietnam with a view to improve the working skills and share experiences among officers and also to enhance mutual understanding and deepen cooperative relationships in seafarer recruitment activities among related parties.
The training program of SOMINAR 2024 focused on topics related to maritime safety, risk assessment, working and rest hours management, fuel management etc. Many questions and real-life situations encountered onboard were raised for discussion, evaluation to find optimal solutions. Throughout the discussion, there were many exciting games and group activities, creating a comfortable and engaging atmosphere.
Following the training activities, a Gala Dinner was organized in a warm and joyful atmosphere with the presence of officers' families. Everyone enjoyed socializing, delicious food, and entertaining performances by singers and attendees together.
VINIC actively coordinated and supported, contributing to the success of the SOMINAR 2024.
