On April 10th, 2025, the NSU Vietnam Representative Office in collaboration with VINIC Co., Ltd. hosted the NSU Officers’ Seminar 2025 and Gala Dinner with attendance of representatives of NSU Japan, the All-Japan Seamen’s Union in Vietnam, Vietnam Maritime University, VINIC; NSU officers in vacation and officers’ family representatives.  The occasion served as a meaningful opportunity for NSU to extend the heartfelt gratitude to NSU officers, reaffirm NSU’s commitment to strengthening unity and mutual support as well as promote a long-term, cooperative relationship in pursuit of shared goals.


During the seminar, the NSU shipowner provided an overview of the current status and future plans for NSU vessels. Key highlights included a summary of safety initiatives implemented in 2024, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of crews. In line with this focus, a special presentation on dental health was also delivered to further emphasize the importance of maintaining overall well-being on board. A notable highlight of the session was the announcement of NSU investments in dual-fuel vessels. Attendees were given a preview of NSU’s plans to introduce its first newly built dual-fuel vessel scheduled for delivery in 2027 under operation by VINIC’s crew.


Following the seminar, all attendees gathered for a warm and cheerful dinner party. The evening was filled with delicious food, lively conversations, and vibrant musical performances by both guests and crew members.
