On Oct 16th, 2025, the newly built vessel M/V PALEXPO owned by NISSEN KAIUN was completed at Tsuneishi Heavy Industries (Cebu) shipyard in Philippines and handed over to VINIC crew members for management and operation.

She is the fourth newly built vessel that VINIC crew members are entrusted by shipowner NISSEN and ship management company Synergy Ocean Maritime Inc., (SOMI) in 2025, bringing the total number of vessels managed by SOMI and operated by VINIC crew members to 15 vessels.

M/V PALEXPO is a Panama-flagged bulk carrier which was designed with the deadweight 82,529 DWT, engine power 9,000 kW, LOA 228.99m, breadth 32.26m, summer draft 14.579m. The vessel was installed with the main engine ME-Mitsui-Man B&W 6S60ME-C10.5-EGRBP, exhaust gas treatment system Sox EGCS, NOx EGR, SCR for IMO Tier III. The vessel has been certified by Class NK Japan with the worldwide operation area.
