The Seafarers’ meeting is an important annual event with the purpose of summarizing and evaluating the Company's activities of dispatching seafarers to work abroad. However, in the past 2 years, due to the serious impact of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, this activity was temporarily suspended and could not be held normally.
Entering 2022, when the pandemic is now under control, in a joyful atmosphere for celebrating the company's 25th anniversary, the Seafarers’ meeting was held on October 18th, 2022. This is the time for the Company to report on the situation of dispatching seafarer to work abroad last year, prospects for development in the next year and in the future. This is also the time for the Board of Members and the Board of Directors of VINIC, leaders of VMU, the ship owners to meet, discuss, share and sympathize with all seafarers and their family representatives after a year of working onboard.

Next was a speech by Mr. TAKAMASA TAKAMI - Safety Management Group Leader, NS United Kaiun Kaisha. He gave his best words to talk about the close cooperation between VINIC, seafarers and NS United that have overcome extremely difficult times due to the global Covid-19 pandemic together. On this occasion, he would like to thank all seafarers and their families and employees of VINIC company who have accompanied NS United Kaiun Kaisha during the past time, and affirmed to continue to add new ships and create the best possible conditions for VINIC's officers and crewmembers to safely operate and successfully complete assigned tasks.

Mr. PHAM VIET HUONG - Deputy Director of the Department of Overseas Labor made a speech in the meeting. He highly appreciated the cooperation relationship of VINIC Company and its partners. This cooperation has contributed to help Vietnamese seafarers have the opportunity to develop, to work in a safe, stable and modern environment, to have a good income and savings. He also suggested that VINIC and its partners continue to expand and strengthen their relationships with the goal of having more and more Vietnamese seafarers working on international fleets. On behalf of the Department of Overseas Labor, he assured that he would create all necessary conditions for all labor supply service enterprises, including VINIC, to operate in most convenient ways.
