With a view to providing information about “The cadet and scholarship selection program 2024”, NSU Representative Office in Vietnam (NSUVN), with the permission of Vietnam Maritime University (VMU), held the meetings on September 24 and October 2-3, 2024 with VMU students (grade K62, K63) from Navigation and Marine Engine departments of School of Excellent Education, Navigation and Marine Engineering Faculties. Being the strategic manning partner of NSU, VINIC actively supported and contributed to the success of this event.

In the meetings, the representative of NSUVN informed the students about the recruitment of seafarers for NSU’s fleet as well as the cadet and scholarship selection program which will take place in November 2024. The selected students are eligible for either an employment opportunity right upon university graduation (for K62 students) or a better study condition via scholarship (for K63 students).

The event attracted the participation and interest of over 200 students, who engaged in active discussions on various topics and directed numerous inquiries to the NSUVN Representative. Meanwhile, VINIC’s officers with experiences onboard NSU’s fleet also provided the students with practical insights into the profession, the working environment and the salary.
